Yara Ibrahim is an MA student and teaching assistant in the Department of English at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She also serves as an associate editor for the literary journal, Partial Answers, published by the Department of English. Within the framework of the project APARTHEID-STOPS, her research centers on the translation and reception in Israel of Athol Fugard’s play, The Island, in Arabic and in Hebrew.
