Yair Hashachar and Ron Levi participated in the first panel "National and Transnational Discourse in Africa" which was hosted at the Tamar Golan Center of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Yair Hashachar presented a paper titled “Pan-Africanism and the Nation-State: The Case of the National Festival in Guinea”; Ron Levi presented “Black and Soul Power under Mobutu's Gaze: The Sound-Event of ‘Zaire ’74’”.
